HOW TO INSTALL AND REMOVE TOUGH CASES
We have posted a video on You Tube for those that prefer a “visual” on how to install and remove these cases. We highly recommend viewing it for assistance!
Here is the link to it: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRWwXX571RWecZUGRcpwRVA
Make sure you separate the outer shell from the inner rubber bumper. Install the bumper by placing your phone, buttons side first, into the case. Then push down on the opposite side of your phone to be completely covered by the rubber bumper. Now that the rubber bumper portion is on the case, push that (again working with the button side of the phone first) into the outer, plastic shell. Push down on the opposite site to finish installing the outer cover.
On the SOLID side of the cover (not the button side), slide your fingernails between the outer plastic shell and inner rubber bumper. While sliding back and forth, push down on that side. (Your goal is to create an air pocket in between the two pieces so that you can slide off the outer shell.) If your fingernails are not strong enough try sliding a credit card, thin flat head screwdriver, etc. Once you have popped off the outer shell remover the rubber bumper. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU DO NOT TRY TO PRY OFF BOTH COVERS AT ONE TIME! DOING SO, MAY BEND THE METAL PLATE CAUSING IT TO EVENTUALLY PULL OFF THE COVER!
They are snug, tough cases designed to be “semi-permanent” not taken on and off frequently. Taking off the first few times can be very tough…but they will give ever so slightly after a few times and becomes easier to remove…much like shoes become a more comfortable after they “give” just a bit.
CARING FOR YOUR PORTFOLIO TECH CASES
All of our portfolio cases are printed using state of the art printing and pressing equipment. We buy only name brand inks sold by distributors of the parent company that holds the patent for the printing technology. We use no “knockoff” or “generic” inks. Furthermore, we accurately follow all printing specifications including time, temperature and pressure for every product we print. Included in our maintenance procedures, we temperature test our printing presses weekly to insure they are operating at specified temperatures. We only want you to receive quality merchandise at a fair price!
CARING FOR YOUR CASE:
We ask that you keep in mind that the covers begin as a specially coated white fabric that is designed “to permanently accept” ink. Therefore, it will also take dirt, grime, and natural oils on our hands. In our pursuit of delivering to you the best possible product, we apply three coats of Scotch GuardT fabric protector to the front of all portfolio cases after the printing process to aid in keeping your cover clean. While we warranty our products for manufacture defects for 6 months, dirt is considered normal wear and tear. To keep your cover looking fabulous, please take care in using only freshly cleansed hands and consider reapplying Scotch GuardT periodically. Your case can be spot washed with a clear, mild detergent.
